60 Years as Queen!

Queen Elizabeth celebrated her 60th year to the throne as of today, Elizabeth was born on April 21, 1926 in Mayfair, United Kingdom. She took power to the throne when her dad died at the age of 56 shortly after a lung operation. she was 25 years old. Elizabeth has immense power as a figurehead.

She is officially the head of state of 16 countries that used to be part of the British Empire, has met presidents and prime ministers, and has seen the world change beyond recognition during her reign. Queen Elizabeth is 85 years old and is still holding the rein as Queen. She is the oldest British monarch in history, but has not yet passed her great-great-grandmother Victoria as the longest-reigning one.

Queen Victoria was queen for 64 years if Elizabeth stays alive long enough she would break that title of being Queen for the longest time.
