Heinrich Rudolf Hertz was born on February 22, 1857 and died on January 1, 1894. Hertz was a German physic who made the electromagnetic theory of light more clear and modified, which had been originally discovered by James Clerk Maxwell. He was the first to conclusively prove the existence of electromagnetic waves by engineering instruments to transmit and receive radio pulses using experimental procedures that ruled out all other known wireless phenomena. The scientific unit of frequency "hertz" was named in his honor.

I knew he did something for science but I wasn't sure what exactly but now I know! Very interesting
He died pretty young. Do you know why?
